Why Join Alberta Capital Airshed

As an airshed, educating about air quality is an essential part of what we do. It is important to us as an organization to inform through not only sharing air quality data but also providing tips on how we can all do our part to reduce air pollution and serve as environmental stewards at an individual level.

We all have the capacity to serve as advocates to the people in our own lives—including family members, co-workers and your government representatives—and to be an agent for change.

What You Can Do...

  • Share information and educate
  • Volunteer your time
  • Join a committee or organization
  • Write your MLA or MP for policy change
  • Learn how to reduce your own impact on air quality and the environment
  • Tips from the Alberta Environment and Sustainable Resource Development (ESRD) for improving outdoor air quality
